iPhone deals in Big Billion Days 2026
Every roundup quotes the listed discount. On an iPhone it is usually the smallest part of what you save. The number that matters is the final payable amount after four separate reductions stack — and they do not stack the way most buyers assume.
Last updated 7 August 2026. Prices go live when the sale opens, expected around 26 September 2026; we will list real figures then rather than predicted ones.
The four reductions, in the order they apply
- 1
The listed sale price
Flipkart's headline discount off MRP. This is the number every roundup quotes, and on flagship phones it is usually the smallest part of the total saving.
- 2
Bank instant discount
A partner bank knocks a flat amount or percentage off at checkout, typically capped. It applies to credit cards, and often EMI transactions only — read the cap before assuming the headline figure applies to you.
- 3
Exchange bonus
Trade-in value for your old device, plus a bonus on top during sale periods. The bonus is the part worth timing; the base trade-in value barely moves.
- 4
Coupons and SuperCoins
Stackable on top of the above, and the piece most buyers forget to apply before paying.
The trap most buyers fall into: the exchange value is deducted before the bank discount is calculated. A generous trade-in can therefore push your cart below the threshold where the bank offer applies, or below its cap — leaving you worse off overall. Always price the order both ways before paying.
Which model to watch
Apple almost never reduces MRP, so the discount is created by the retailer clearing inventory. That produces a reliable pattern: the model one generation behind the current flagship takes the deepest cut, because it is the line being cleared. The newest model moves barely at all.
If you want the biggest absolute saving, watch the outgoing flagship. If you want the newest device, the sale is still worth waiting for — but expect the saving to come almost entirely from the bank offer and exchange bonus rather than from the listed price.
Before you buy, check these
- The bank offer cap. “10% instant discount” is almost always capped at a flat amount. On an iPhone you will hit that cap immediately, so the percentage is irrelevant — only the cap matters.
- Whether it requires EMI. Many instant discounts apply only to EMI transactions, not outright card payments.
- Seller name and warranty. Check the listing is the model and storage you intend, sold with standard India warranty.
- The price before the sale. Note it a week ahead. It is the only way to tell a real cut from a marked-up MRP.
Common questions
Will iPhones be discounted in Big Billion Days 2026?
Yes — iPhones have been discounted in every recent edition, and the previous-generation model is always cut hardest. Apple rarely moves on MRP, so almost all of the saving comes from Flipkart's price cut plus bank and exchange offers rather than from Apple itself.
Which iPhone gets the biggest discount?
Consistently the model one generation behind the current flagship, once new stock has landed and retailers are clearing the old line. The newest model sees a far smaller cut, if any.
Is the bank offer applied before or after the exchange bonus?
The exchange value comes off the item price first, and the bank discount is then calculated on what remains — which is why a large exchange can reduce the bank discount you qualify for. Check the final payable amount both with and without the exchange before committing.
Should I buy on day one?
For iPhones, yes. Discounted units are allocated in limited quantity and the sharpest prices tend to be live at the open, then drift upward as stock thins.
